We walk by hundreds of businesses everyday. We see their ads, hear about promotions or maybe see a good review online but what do we know about the people behind the business?

Who started the company and why?

For the entirety of my career I’ve worked directly with small to mid-sized business owners in helping them navigate banking products. Throughout those 10 years, the best part of my job was speaking to the owner about their story. How did they start their business? What were the successes and challenges they faced? Would they do it all over again? I became obsessed with learning about inspiring entrepreneurs.

Over time I began to realize that the world often heard from the flashy and very successful entrepreneurs but never from the small business owners or the recent entrepreneurs that have risked their careers to try something they believe in. While small businesses are the backbone of our economy, it seemed like their stories were often untold. It’s time to share those incredible stories with the world.
